I was supposed to tell you that the Jungle Run was the place where the Horses Asses originated. In 1996 my Brother and I were attending one of the many Jungle Runs in Garden City, Kansas. We made such a good impression that Chuck and Dee Gill stole one of my Beer Cans and designed, built and presented the very first Horses Ass Trophy, called a Brooks Award. I will see if I can move the picture of the award from the Honorary HA page of this site to this post. You will be impressed!!!!!

The Friends of the Lee Richardson Zoo decided to revive the old Jungle Run this year. No better place to have a car show than the Zoo in Garden City, Kansas! They had over 50 cars from the area. Take a look:

As you can see the Horses Asses were there but we could not settle on an Honorary Horses Ass, toooo many to choose from. I did find a young lady who bestowed a brand new portable PUTTER on me. This old man says, Thank You, JESSICA NORTON!!!
