MORE POSSON REMEMBERING
We got an email from David Posson's son Mike. How come the rest of you guys don't like us. Before you say it, I know, he lives a long way away and does not have to see us.
Steve & Jake:
Thanks for your mention of my father’s recent passing within your website. I am Dave & Bev’s oldest son, Mike, who lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I’ve just returned to home & work after having spent 8 days at home with Mom. I’ve been spotted around at quite a number of car shows & rod runs with Ma & Pa Posson over the past 25 years, as I’m a bit of a gearhead myself. In fact dad had just completed a 2 year build for me earlier this spring, a ’28 Model A, with a serious chop job, powered by a ’49 Olds Rocket 88 + ’39 ford tranny + a Quick Change rear-end upgrade to an early Ford rear end housing…its very sweet and now even more dear to me. Since it was dad’s final creation in respect to his lifelong passion for chopping up perfectly good antique collectable cars and creating master-crafted pieces of customized-motorized-art, attached are 2 photos of it: one with Dad standing beside it a few miles outside of Norton when we took it for its maiden voyage, and one beside the garage on the Posson Farm this summer ahead of the July Norton Car show. A third photo of mom & dad sitting as close as they can to a shade tree with friends in Salina Kansas at the July 2011 Kustom Kemp Show, where it was hotter than Hot! Dad was so proud to have pulled away with yet another top honor at the Kustom Kemp show the first year he took his ‘Merc there.
Thanks firstly for having recognized Dad as a “H.A.” several years back. He was indeed at H.A., and always eager to show off his tribute trophy to house guests, and tell the story to friends & family…and as for me - my mother Bev was once quoted at a car show as having said “The tree don’t fall too far from its Fruit”….That’s the way she meant to say it, and that is ME, a 2nd generation Horses Ass , , , or at least I can only hope so! Secondly, thanks for your tribute to him within your website this past week. I know he is once again honored! Hope to run into you guys one of these days as I do plan to get back to Kansas over the upcoming years to keep my dad’s remaining creations appearing in local cars shows and rod runs as long as I am able.
Regards
Mike Posson
There they are. Thanks for letting us know about your dad, Mike. How about comments from Northwest Cruisers????
Just remebered this one. Lake Scott 2011 on the DVD we made. I am sure you can recognize Beverly and especally David Posson displaying one of his many traits that proves he is a Horses Ass.

the northwest kansas crusiers are very sad at the loss of dave. but as any car group we will be there for bev as she needs us. freinds are made in the many years of going to car shows/rod runs and having fun and making memories. we have always said that car shows are just a excuse to get togather with freinds. and if you have freinds you are very blessed in life. even HA'S counthttp://123essay.org/customwritings-com-review/ wrote on 12/25/16 12:42 PM

Good show guys, thanks much for the tribute to dad! I remarked at the graveside service that I was appreciative for the great car show weather! Indeed it was a car show & parade that day for dad, and thanks for all those friends of Mom & Dad who turned out with their restored cars, rods, muscle cars & "cruisers" to follow me as I drove dad's 49 merc ((chocked full of 5 grandkids)) to follow the hearse up to the Norton Cemetary,,,how else do you do it for such a die hard rodder & H.A.?!?!
