There was an acution of four classic Fords in Scott City, Kansas on November 3, 2012, and the results were:

1966 7 LITRE FORD GALAXIE, ALL THERE BUT NOT ALL ASSEMBLED SOLD FOR $5,500.00

THIS 1969 FORD RANCHERO SOLD FOR $4,000.00

1966 7 LITRE FORD GALAXIE SOLD FOR $24,000.00

1957 FORD SKYLINER RETRACTABLE SOLD FOR $14,700. See all descriptions below. You missed a good auction. Should of been there.

On November 3, 2012, at the Scott County Fairgrounds in Scott City, Kansas, Some classic Fords will come up for Auction. These cars are the property of the Gerald Young Estate. I am adding some new pictures, take a look:

Ok what you see above are pictures on the engine compartment and inside of 2 door hardtop 1966 7 Liter Ford Galaxie. Motor is rebulit and complete. I see an electronic distributor. The dash is there, only one seet is there but I understand the rest of the interior is being collected. Looks like an new underdash ac unit back there. In the garage I saw some chrome and other parts.

Check out engine compartment of 1966 7 Liter Ford Galaxie convertible. Now that is a 428 with some good stuff. Three Duces, check out distributor, aluminin radiator, after market valve covers and air cleaner ready to go. Mech thinks this has less than 2000 miles on it after rebuilt.

How about we start with a 1957 Ford Skyliner, this is a rare Retractable. The restore has been started but it does need finishing. I saw some rust in the rear quarter panels. All the parts are there. The 312 motor is not in the car and the block needs rebuilt. Brakes and wiring are in good shape and the top works.

Here is a 1966 Ford Galaxy 500 with a 428, the auction bill says 390 but the mechanic says this is a real 7 Liter with 3 Duces. It has a new convertible top with good paint and interior.

This one is ready to cruise. Gerald drove it to shows for years.

How about another 1966 7 Liter Ford Galaxy 500 with new paint. This one is a sister car to the convertible. Gerald wanted to show the too together but never got to. Buy them both and show them together. You will find some history on 7 Liter by searching 7 Liter Fords. Even Jay Leno has one. The motor is a rebuilt 428 but no interior installed. I was told that the interior is in town and hopefully it is there when the car sells.

They tell me all of the parts are there.

Now we find a 1969 Ranchero with a 351. I understand the interior has been redone.
