The Horses Asses
Old Men with too much time and beer on our hands!
Cheyenne Wells, Colorado 2013
I decided to go to Cheyenne Wells, Colorado this weeekend. Their show was friendly and will be growing. Many locals brought out their cars and motorcycles. Weather was good, damn good brisket and a place to get a beer right across the street. NOT BEST OF ALL there were Horses Asses there, below you will see the cars of Jack Arnold and Rick and Bonnie Morgan:
I took a 2013 Scott Trophy to show off. Chuck Ellis built the coooooolest of Rat Rod trophys. Take a look in the trunk of the "37". Hell the chicken is in awe. This trophy will be given away at the Scott City Car Show on August 17 and 18, 2013. You will also see Randy and Shirley Raile's, Goodland, Ks. Rat Rod. We were able to convine them to sign up to be in Scott City.
ALL OF YOU RAT RODDERS better bring your Rat Rod to get a shot at this trophy.
Now, for the most interesting story of Cheyenne Wells. Larry Morris of Oakley, Ks purchased a yellow Chevy from Jack Arnold, Tribune a couple of year ago.
It is hard to see but Larry decided on a little customizing. I do not always get the story right but I was told that Larry while driving around in his garage with his driver's door open (some of us suspect drinking firewater, eventhough he says he does not drink) slammed into a snow blower this July in Kansas. I invite comments or corrections on this event.
It looks like Jack is helping Larry learn better ways to drive the car he sold to him. Hmmmmmmmmmmm?
