RUSH CENTER, KS.
Mar 13, 2016
Always the first run in this area is Rush Center. That samll town of about 175 (est.) blossoms to well over a 1,000 for the 20th Annual Car and Antique Tractor Show. I did not get pictures of the 100 plus cars, tractors, and motorcycles, but did enjoy the celebration and food. It was a little wet and cool but that did not slow the crowd down. We brought 7 cars and stopped by the Cozy in Ness City on the way home. PANORAMIC above, WHAT YOU THINK?
SIX of those guys were trophy winners, Charles Purma, Jerome Berning, Kenny Snow, Charles Modlin, Rex Grothusen, of Scott City, Kansas, and Norman Parker of Dighton, Kansas. Poor old Jake Brooks and his 1966 Mercury were passed over by the awards presenters. But the winners let us go to the bar with them.
